M’hudi Farm Project The M’hudi farm is a family owned wine farm situated in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Ideally located in the cape winelands, M’hudi isn’t only just a business but a place of learning and community development. The SOS NPO has partnered together with M’hudi farm to assist in developing a farming and teaching academy. In promoting the spirit of sustainability not only in farming but also in the environment the Academy has been designed with renewable energy in mind. The DUKKS Foundation would like to be a part of this project by fundraising for the installation of a small Photo Voltaic system for the guard house. UPDATE TO PROJECT: One of the interesting highlights and challenges of charity work is the sense that one can never really do enough. Each completed project often serves as a gateway to more projects. While we helm each new task with passion and and a clear sense of purpose we are constantly being reminded that sometimes its the little steps that we take that spearhead the forward march of a movement. The M’hudi Farm Project has been one such a step for the DUKKS Foundation. While there is still quite a lot more to do at the farm, we can gladly report that the objectives we set out have been met.
